Hugh Smith Morrison (* 1858 im County Londonderry; † 21. Mai 1929 in Coleraine, County Londonderry, Nordirland) war ein irisch-britischer Arzt und Politiker der Ulster Unionist Party. Er war von 1921 bis 1929 Mitglied des House of Commons des Parliament of Northern Ireland.

Leben

Morrison studierte an der Royal University of Ireland, an der Queen’s University Belfast und am Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. 1884 schloss er sein Medizinstudium erfolgreich ab. Morrison zog nach Aghadowey im County Londonderry und eröffnete seine eigene Praxis. Später wurde er Coroner. Er unterstützte in der nordirischen Politik Denis Henry. Bei der Wahl 1921 wurde er für den Wahlkreis der Queen’s University Belfast in das Unterhaus des nordirischen Parlaments gewählt. Seinen Sitz konnte er bei den Wahlen 1925 verteidigen. Er starb einen Tag vor der Wahl 1929.

Seit 1884 heiratete Morrison Louise Jane Whitley, mit der er wenigstens zwei Söhne hatte.
